Rogaine is a fairly-effective OTC counter for male pattern baldness and is quite reasonably-priced. You simply apply the liquid to the areas of hair loss twice daily. It takes about three-four months to see results as far as actual new hair growth, but it usually slows and stops hair loss within just a few weeks. There are generic brands of Rogaine produced by most chain drug stores that are the same formula but even less expensive. Treatment runs less than $30 per month.

There are different causes of baldness, so in general it would be good to ask your doctor.
If you are sure that this is just the hereditary kind of baldness, you can get Minoxidil (goes under brand name Rogaine among others) over the counter.
Finasteride (Propecia) is another FDA approved remedy for baldness.
There a lot of other Non-FDA approved remedies, but these two are the ones that have undergone numerous tests.

Millions of people all over the world are affected by hair loss, and it's not only the males that suffer this condition as even females are affected by this problem. What's sad is that many of the individuals affected by such a condition end up just accepting what is happening to their hair due to lack of information or options.
If you are looking for natural hair regrowth methods this is a good guide you can read http://hairagain.toptips.org

There really isn't much, only if you are Elton John or someone with similar wealth.
You don't say how old you are, but I would guess quite young, as you are worrying so much about this.
At 6O and having known numerous men and hundreds of women, throughout my life . Women prefer short or no hair, somehow it always seems more masculin.
So if you are going a little thin, have a number one haircut, then you will be like most of the male population. This way you won't draw attention to yourself, and you will gain your confidence back.
"hair maketh not the man".
Good luck and be happy, you'll attract more of the opposite sex that way ,if that's what you want. Women always like confident men, they feel more secure with them.
Be yourself, be good to women and you'll do just fine.
Good luck and do stop worrying.

A new head.?... just let it happen, it's part of life. Don't be fake and try to hide it or cover it up. I love nothing more than a man w/ a nice goatee/ beard/ mustache and a bald head. I'd grab that bald head and rub it all over my .......... well you get the idea.

Not much, hair productions is regulated by the genes. There are products on the market that claims to regrow hair, or keep it from falling out, but their effectiveness leaves a lot ot be desired. You can try hair transplants, etc, but even they are not that hot.
