Theo Walcott is the next big thing!! Only 17 years of age. Got picked for the English world cup squad after being transferred to Arsenal from Southampton last season after not even featuring in a Premiership match.

He has the pace and the skill. I believe if mentored, trained and developed correctly under Henry and Wenger, he will form a formidable partnership with Wayne Rooney in the coming years.

Gareth Bale if you mean the English leagues.he's a left back for Southampton but he's not English.he's Welsh.

An English player would be Micah Richards.apart from his lack of experience he's pretty much the complete player.and can play anywhere in defence and midfield.

From yesterday's match with Holland, has to be Micah Richards. He's only 18 but he's one defender with nerves of steel.
