Predators are a special bunch of folks. Yes, predators; they come in various forms....sexual, financial, power.
Let's say you enter your REAL information when filling out forms for Yahoo email. A hacker can get this easily. If you store personal information on your hard drive, same thing. Please allow to take the time now to tell you NEVER put all of your correct information online unless you are purchasing something online from a reputable vendor, and even then you are only moderately safe. Put in the wrong birthday, for sure AND the wrong gender. That will slow anyone down.
As for how safe you are...Predators are everywhere and the internet has helped them flourish. Just take care when chatting...don't give your town, your real name, job site, etc.

been chatting for years and have had nothing happen apart from meeting ( online ) with some incredibly silly people. Like the others say, don't give away anything of signifigance no matter who or what they say they are and how much you like them.
I used to be the same as hubby when i first started using the net but you relax after a while , but stay sensible.

Well, don't give out your personal information, Anything you would not tell a complete stranger in the street, you should not be sharing here, We are all complete strangers. I am not sure how often this happens, sorry! However, one time is one time to many. Good luck and God bless*

EXACT identical factor occurred to me, so do not believe like you are the one one in the market. Sometimes it has to do with the strain of having engaged, and repeatedly it is only a accident. As for relationship, it is ok to begin relationship each time YOU believe such as you will have to begin relationship once more. Try now not to this point given that you are at the rebound. Take as a lot time as you wish to have, then while you are able to begin watching once more, opt for it. Best of good fortune hun!

They would have to be extremely intelligent or you extremely stupid. If they are expert computer hackers then they could probably get info somehow. Not sure how since I'm not one. If you are extremely stupid you would give them your info. I believe that chatting online is realatively safe. If someone creeps you out there is yahoo's ignore button or you can report them. Tell hubby there is nothing to worry about.

It happens more often than people think. Just be super careful, don't give out phone numbers, addresses, the name of your town, city, etc...
I had a friend who was on AOL & actually had someone stalk her, hack her bank account, harrass her with phone calls, etc..
