I once got ( I forget his name, he was a strike partner for Andy Cole at Man U and Blackburn Rovers, and I think he played for Trinida and Tobago) playing all season up front for Southport in the Premier League, scoring well over 100 goals.

Martin Palermo, when he played for Boca Juniors I bought him for Everton. He scored 30 odd in the first season and put me in Europe, then 40+ for 5 consecutive seasons. On two occasions he scored more goals than games he played. I think this was the 95/96 Champ Man English League.

I had him partnered with a guy called Natipong Sritong-In of Thailand... he was good to but not a prolific scorer, he assisted more than scored.

The closest after that was when I bought Ronaldo from PSV when managing AC Milan. He scored 25-30goals a season for 8 straight seasons before I got bored and started again.
