I went to the doctor on Monday. The doctor told me that my son, (twelve months on the 29th) can get everything except eggs, nuts, and seafood. He's told me the same information when my son was about ten months as well. He said he can start to drink homo milk. Ask your doctor but I would wait a little before I start to feed him eggs. Good luck you!

The yolk of the egg is ok to give your baby. Try a soft boiled egg and just give him the yolk. He should enjoy that!

You can give egg yokes at this age. I would give two egg yokes once a week. The protein is in the egg whites and that is what they could have a hard time digesting or develop an allergy to.

I SATRTED TO FEED MY BAYBY THE YOLK WHEN HE WAS ONLY 6 MONTHS . START WITH 1 TEASPOON AT FIRST THEN INCREASE THE QUANTITY NEXT DAY AND SO ON UNTILL HE EAT ALL THE EGG YOLK WHEN HE IS ONE YEAR . GIVE HIMM ALL THE EGG . ONE EGG A DAY EVEN IF ITS FRESH MIX IT WITH HIS MILK BOTTLE AND U WILL NOTICE THE RED COLOR IN HIS FACE AFTER A WHILE BECAUSE EGG IS FULL OF IRON
GOOD LUCK

Definately ask your Pediatrician about that. Our 5th child was given a VERY small amount of scrambled egg at 10 months and had a DANGEROUS allergic reaction and had to be sent to the ER.

They say to wait till they are a year old but I would go head and give him some and see how he does.We have been giving our daughter eggs for a couple months now(she is 11 months) and she loves them and has never had a problem with them.

some people prefer to wait until the baby is at least a yr. however, the only reason as far as i know is bc egg whites cause botulism (sp?). i would think that your son is ok to eat eggs but if he experiences and discomfort or allergic reactions i would stop. you could always consult you ped. thats usually the best/safest route! :)

you should make sure the egg is cooked all the way through like scrambled egg or a hard boiled egg , as it contains salmonella and could make him ill , jus make sure it properly cooked .

i was told not to give eggs until after their first birthday, the reason is because it can cause allergies if given before that.
