ok i am 5 weeks and i found out friday well monday i went to er with pain in left side they said i was pregnant hcg was 4924 they done an ultra sound they can see a sack but thats it. i went to my dr and now she will not tell me any thing just that she wants to do more tests what is going on i have one ine the womb and one in the tube can any one help me please

the same thing happened to me so at 8 weeks i had another ultrasound and everything was fine usualy u cant see the baby untill 6-7 weeks just the sack it all should be fine unless ur doc has implyed eptopic prenancy i now have a beautiful healthy son

Although there are variations by labs and ultrasound used, a fetal pole should be seen on transvaginal ultrasound with an hCG level of 5000. There are surely exceptions but I would be concerned that this is a non-viable pregnancy such as am impending miscarriage or even a tubal pregnancy. Your physicians will likely be following you closely with either a repeat ultrasound and/or hCG measurements.

If you have a tubal pregnancy then you will have to have surgery, this is an emergency and you could bleed to death if this ruptures and it will because the tube is not where a fetus is supposed to be

Keep calm and trust your dr.Follow her instructions carefully and wait for results.After " more tests" she will be able to establish the true situation.
