The Bible contains six admonishments to homosexuals and three hundred sixty-two admonishments to heterosexuals. That doesn't mean that God doesn't love heterosexuals.
It's just that they need more supervision.

I shall create a Christmas card for my beloved Gwenneth's family featuring those words.
I know I have forgiven them but the pot needs an occasional stir.

monkey,
There are over 600 laws and commandments. Which are you going to perfect?

Rather I, as a Bi Christian, choose faith over adherance to the law.

You can go on quoting Levitical Law for justification for this and that, but God looks for trust. Trust is faith.

As it was linked from the Old Testament to the New Testament, "The just shall live by faith." Through the works of the Law, no flesh will be justified. The Pharisee's of Jesus's time were prime examples of that. They knew the Law, they even had teachers of the Law to consult with. But Jesus didn't like them, and would admonish them for their lack of faith, the same way God would admonish them in the Old Testament.

So Gay or Straight; there is no sexual binding from or to heaven. So it is by faith in God's promises that God looks for in people, not the ability to be perfect.

What's the difference? The distinction is your ability to be perfect, or your trust in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. It has nothing to do with what you do other than you believing in what God has provided for any who choose to believe.

Well said.... unfortunately the Bible is used in far to many instances as "backing" for a particular arguement, when you can find equal [if not *more*] arguements for the other side... IN THE SAME BOOK!?!?! Hulloooooo... what do you expect from a book that was written by a lot of different individuals all with their own outlook on life and how to approach it. Makes ya nuts!

First, don't forget when the Bible was written and how many translations thee have been to it. It was a different era then.

But from what I read, I cannot find anything that says homosexuality is sinful. Don't forget also that 'sins' are derived from the ten commandments and not one fo them mentions sexuality except coveting thy neighbors wife.

Leviticus condems two men who lay together -- but ONLY if they ejaculate on the floor. According to the bible, if a man 'spills' his 'seed' on the 'earth' then that is an abomination to God -- not the fact that the two men just got fresh with each other and stuck their erect penis' up one anothers' love-holes.

Being gay is NOT the sin. Blowing your load outside of a womans' vagina is. And straight guys do that all the time. Technically, according to the bible, wearing a condom and ejaculating inside a rubber is a sin. But I'd rather be a sinner by wearing a condom than go bareback and catch a nasty disease.......
