i have a A series laptop A400xt
does anyone no the part no for a replacement sreen and ribbon cable
i have tried a A series A366xt but it will not work

There are currently 3 Dell CPi A400xt laptops for sale on ebay Prices range from .99 to $11.72 U.S. Dollars. With shipping the most expensive one is just over $25.00
I would imagine there are also laptops for sale for 'parts only' try keywords that include 'parts' 'damaged' or 'lcd'.
Personally i'd buy a working computer, move your hard drive, memory, battery, etc.. to the new computer and be done with it. You could then sell your system as a 'parts' computer or for 'repair' and maybe someone that needs a keyboard or motherboard will buy it for 10 bucks and end up saving you even more cash.
