1. Pollution because people don't care about cleanliness.
2. More food is needed but little people work as farmer.
3. The natural resources run out easily.
*4. More lands are needed to make homes for them.
*5.Mountains and forests are destroyed in order to get bigger land.
6. More animals are killed for food and later they don't exist anymore.
7. The earth becomes too crowded.
8. Rivers will dry.
9.No more mountains.
*10. People are looking for jobs but the chance to get the jobs are very little.
*11. People has no money, they will not be able to buy food for them to eat, to buy house for them to live and finally they will suffer and die.

Over population , you say? Where? Australia, where they restrict the entry of "outsiders" to keep the population low? And dozen other countries like that. No. The earth is not overly populated BUT the distribution of population is the problem.
If countries such as Pakistan, India, sriLanka, BanglaDesh Philippines etc,. did not send their "extra' population to the middle east that desrt land will still be a desrt land.
If 5 million Indians were NOT wrking day and night for many American companies in the USA ( back office work) America would suffer as their work will be slowed.
No. Today manpower is an asset and not a liability. managing the growing population EFFECTIVELY is the problem.

The earth could support about 4Billion people.
We now have over 6Billion.
Answer: castrate every male human, In about a thousand years we could get down to where mother nature would be happy.
Burn all the baby factories. As sex is our #1 pastime, all this will never happen. Good by humanity.

overpopulation is very detrimental in our society..
if the society is overpopulated, the tendency is there will be scarcity of resources, the scarcity or shortage of resources will eventually turn to competition or the so called "survival of the fittest."
we will, of course compete for limited resources just like food, water, homes etc.
there are other struggles we will going to face if the country is overpopulated, either economical or political crisis.
