I've got married on 3rd Oct. with a man who is far from my hometown(suzhou ,jiangsu, China), so i have to quit my job there and follow him to the recent residence(Yixing a affiliating sity of wuxi). and now it is very difficult to find a relatively good job here(less opportunity, lower salary), it is terrible to stay in home all day and with nothing to do,I SHOULD SUPPORT MYSELF and do not want to depend on my husband.
what shall i do?

be patient and be smart as well. What are the chances of you and your husband moving to an area where it will be easy to get good jobs for both of you? consider moving if the situation is that bad.

I say settle for a lower paying job or start a small businesses if staying at home really drives you mad. I like that you see the importance of being financially independent but becareful of how you interpret that to your husband...

Good luck.

Ask your husband! This should be discussed as a married couple what he would like you to do. You don't have many choices if you wish to work, but take a lower salary job. Take your time looking for a good job, they are out there. But discuss this with your husband first. Good Luck!

Accept a lesser job, any job, and start off from there. Once you've got a bit of personal income, you will feel less stressed and will surely find a suitable job later..........

Good luck!
