Well, I would get an algae eater, (Make sure not to put in shrimp with snails, O_O) Get a working filter, Make sure you do NOT get two Chinese Fighting Fish (Betas) together in a aquarium, They will be fine with other types of fish, But one will die if you put two together, And if you buy them at wal-mart, Make sure they don't go through the thing where they make sure you didn't steal anything, Or they will die a day or two after.

Need more info. What kind of fish do you plan on keeping. Fresh or salt water. What size tank. Live plants or fake plants. You have to make sure you have the proper equipment. Lights, Filters, Heater, Tank, Hoods, Stand. Once you figure it out set your tank up and let it cycle for at least 2 weeks to get your biological filter going. Get back to me with what I asked and I'll help you out.

The main thing is not to over feed them. And don't leave the light on too much, it causes algae growth.

Also one of those algee eaters, u know the kind tht stick themselves to the glass and and moves along ...Sorry can't think of the name of it. also make sure, if u have any ... the pebbles tht lay on the bottom are also part of ur cleaning process. you don't want ur fish to get tht sickness thts called ICK, then all ur fish will eventually die.
..... Also, don't put those chinese fighting fish in w/ other fish they have to be alone, solo.
