No, No, No you should try your best to avoid medicines during pregnancy. I have a twelve month old and I am 24weeks preganant now. If tylenol(regular strength) doesn't work you should ask your doctor about any stronger drugs you may take safely during pregnancy. I get headaches at times but ussually it will go away once I eat or sit down and put my feet up in my recliner. At my last appointment the doctor said if I have headaches that don't go away, water leakage constant cramps or bleeding to get to the hospital as soon as possible, Those can be signs of labor or something else that can be serious. At 36 weeks you are in deed able to have a healthy child. I know you are ready for it. I wanted to have my baby asap but ended up a week over due and birthed a 9lb 2oz lil girl.

SEE YOUR DOCTOR!!!

You shouldn't even take panadol in the first three months, but migraines are unbearable, so see your doctor immediately.

The headaches may be due to some cause your doctor needs to know about. While sites like the one below will tell you it is OK to take some over-the-counter medications, the best advice is none if you can avoid it. Panadol is unlikely to be effective against a true migraine, and a severe headache, as I stated, may have another cause. In pregnancy it is ALWAYS best to consult your doctor before taking anything.

From the site below:

5. It is safe to take Panadol or Panadeine during pregnancy, but not aspirin, Naprogesic, Nurofen, Ponstan or any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for the treatment of pain. If you are not sure about whether or not to use a medication, call me prior to using it. Depending on your Past History, I may ask you to take a small dose of aspirin during your pregnancy. In these small doses, aspirin has been proven to be safe.

My doctor told me Tylenol is ok to take in moderation. But that might not help with a migraine, so you really need to see your doctor. But until then take a couple Tylenol and go lay down. Hope you feel better and congrats, hope you have a healthy bouncy baby.

Tylenol is the only thing I ever take but what I found helpful was to lay in the dark with a warm pac on my head. Good luck (Aspirin and Ibuprofen are not good choices, they can cause an increased risk of bleeding)

Dont take anything without consulting your doctor. Try alternative methods of pain relief like forehead sticks, cold cloth ond your forehead in darkened quiet and well aired room, drink plenty of water, REST!

Drink a lot of water and prevent stress to prevent headaches.

I would call a doctor to ask what is safe to take. You could call a hospital and ask to talk to an ob/gyn on call. You may not get the right answer on here, and you don't want to take anything that is harmful. Good luck!

I'm pretty sure Tylonol is the only medicine that you can take during your pregnancy. Before you take anything find a doctor and ask him though.
