Buy some more RAM , you will need a stick of 64 minimum or better still 128, that way you will have around 192 or a bit less depending on how you computer is set up, you will first need to know exactly what sort of RAM you have. there are 5 or 6 different, so unplug your computer, open it and take out the RAM stick to see what sort it is,then you can look on eBay or something to try and find a cheap second hand stick , a 64 will be a coupe of pounds and a 128 maybe around 5 to 15 depending on what sort it is. It is quite possible if your computer is old 98 / 2000. then it would be SDRAM

Depends how many memory banks you have in your PC.
Unless you have a very old PC, you are likely to have one bank with 64K right now and one empty one.

Just buy a stick of 64K to put in the empty one.

That said, I don't know how you operate on 64K in this day and age. Ram is dirt cheap these days. If I were you, I would throw the 64K out and buy one stick of 256K. Like that you have room to put another one in later on if you want to increase to 512.

okay all that you have to do is open up the computers case. then there should be a thin stick (unclip this at the end but make sure the PC is off) and buy some new memory from Ebuyer.com and place it in the old place

You point out which you will put in greater DDR because of the fact of slots. ok, yet once you prefer to enhance the no longer worry-free rigidity memory (the truthfully area on the computing device) then you definately will would desire to purchase the memory from the computing device maker. to that end you do no longer point out the variety. you besides mght would desire to locate out in the adventure that your computing device has accessible slots for the memory. If the maker says that the memory is a undeniable variety of memory which you will desire to purchase in shops, then stable for you. many times they arent.

go to your computer's manufacturer's website and search for RAM upgrades.
go to http://www.crucial.com
go to http://www.kingston.com
put in your computers make & model
see exactly what type of ram it takes and how much it can handle.
installation instructions are on one of those 3 sites.
