Because they are made to run for money.
It's true that money is not everything, but without money there won't be anything. But it's also equally true that there's something that money can't buy AND a lot of things that don't require money to buy!
People still need money to buy because of the world system where in order to create fairness and convenience, money is created as a mode of exchange. But money is only a mode of exchange. What people (including the government) do is promoting money as if it's the only thing in the world that dictates everything. That creates bondage. And such bondage is illusion.

Yes they are running for money
because it is very difficult to get money. We are some times telling and advicing others that you can earn money easily but in practical it is very difficult to earn big money. we have to run, and fall, cry all the things are required to get money.... one who having money they are not experiance this difficulty. but one who not have the money and very much interested to earn money has to run behind it until he get it.
