You are as old as you feel. I look around me and I see much younger people than me walking slowly with their shoulders hunched and I wonder why. I am well aware that I look my age but inside I feel much younger. For many I would agree with you that 60 is the new 50, but for many more 40 is the new 60. With 40% of the population suffering obesity it is hardly surprising.

I would say so. If you think about it, we in the 50+ age bracket are more active and healthier than people in this age group 30+ years ago. In those days 60 was OLD. Anyway, age is a mental thing. Some people are born old. :-)

depends on your life style , and also the money to look and feel younger . i only say this as old pop stars and actors have the money for face lifts and tucks here and there ... so its down to money and the individuals life style ... has also been known for men to try and grab the younger woman to enhance his days ...... so is 60 the new 50 yes may be it as we are all living longer . they claim 50 years from now they claim the average age at death will be 110 years old

Looking at pictures`of my grandparents, I would say YES, at 60 the were ready to lay down`and die, but at 55 I am still active and learning.

yes of course, us women are all looking 10 years younger now, great cosmetics, clothes, more independence etc. Im in my thirties but look in my 20s
