Seems that you have not totally understood what ARE bad sectors on a hard drive.
A bad sector on a hard drive is a tiny section (call a "sector") of the HD that the operating system determined to be unreliable. Basically, it wrote something to it, tried to read it back, and the results did not match. Thus, it is marked off-limits, i.e. "bad sector".
Modern HD's have some sectors in reserve and it will automatically remap bad sectors that it detects to the reserve sectors after saving the data. By the time your operating system sees the bad sectors, all of the reserve sectors have been used. This implied that the disk is slowly deteriorating in condition, as more and more and more sectors are damaged as time goes by. As you can guess, they cannot be "removed", nor would you want them to be removed, as that will mean you no longer know which ones are bad!
Modern HD's for the past decade have been sealed units completely air-tight, to prevent introduction of dust and such particles. Thus, they CANNOT be repaired.
My recommendation is for you to get a new hard drive.

You cannot remove bad sectors once they have been created in the hard disk. They can only be hidden and sometimes the hard disk work well. Simply quick format your hard disk to hide them from Windows and they will no longer be a problem to you. However, if you want to do a neat job so that Windows recognises these bad sectors and doesnot write data onto it, either run any defragmentation tool and the data will get copied from the bad sectors to new good ones. Else do a full format of your hard disk and you will come to know how many bad sectors exist. If the number of bad sectors is about 10% of your partition size or the number of bad sectors appear to be increasing day by day, change your hard disk before it is too late.

lol, once there is a bad sector it will stay there forever you can't really fix it... that means your hard drive is old or you were writing and deleting files too often...or there was power outage when it was writing to hd. the only way to "fix" it is to avoid your hard drive going anywhere near that bad sector to prevent it from more damage. I remember there was something like Norton System Doctor or something like that..that could isolate the bad sector...try to search google for some free programs...
p.s. don't run Disk Defragment if you don't want **** up everything.. do what rakesh p says...

Go to Start-> Run, type in “cmd”, hit Enter. In window that will popup type “chkdsk” and hit enter. Also some HDD manufacturers provide software that might help you fix your problem (I know that Western Digital does). Other than that, there is not much you can do about it, especially if bad sectors were caused by physical damage; you can not just pop HDD open and put duct-tape over bad sectors.
If things listed above will not fix it - then you are pretty much stuck with those bad boys.

Try using the Disk Defragment icon. It is located in System Tools of Accessories. The Disk Defragmenter will rearrange all your files into order and it will remove any bad sectors from your hard drive. Just wait and see, after the defragmenting process is completed your computer will operate much faster than before.

do no longer eliminate it, its there because sector is marked as undesirable and the OS won't use it as a secure practices degree. In time you're extra in all threat to get extra undesirable sectors given you have already got some. Its a solid thought to swap the stress.

Should have a backup, then you just reformat, install the data that you use, and all fixed. Ands thats the question, is it broken? or is some program you bought showing a GUI of its assesment of the Physical Drive.
Image and Backups, been useing then since norton came out, after he killed himself, and am still doing it on the same 4gb HDD that came in my Gateway.
