i am already gvg late night formula,does not help.

Is there a particular reason you are wanting to stop? If the two of you are happy, there is no reason to quit. 12 months is actually the minimum that the AAP suggests.

Another option is to have dad take a sippy of water and take over the nighttime parenting. This way the child is not left alone to cry, but has a parent to cuddle with and be comforted back to sleep.

Actually 6 months is the minimum the AAP recommends for breastfeeding and up to 12 months with support.
Anyway, try giving your baby cereal before bedtime. This is usually good for filling baby's tummy's. Good luck.

I guess try giving a snack before bed. I tried it. My son feeds off me 27/7. LOL but I dont mind. He's 17 months old almost.

I started giving my son formula at night and that would last him all night. It seemed to fill him up better than breast milk and he would go longer til the morning feed.

just have your baby sleep with you and then night feedings are a dream. WHO recommends nursing at least two years. why stop?

I gave my son water he didn't want it and a few nights later never woke up must have thought whats the point!!

She should not have to feed at night at all. Just stop doing it.
