ovulation takes place between the 14th and 17th day of every mentrual cycle, not 'immediately' after a period

Some people can have periods and not ovulate and some can ovulate twice a month.
But i would say you have ovulated.

Go to http://www.mymonthlycycles.com and put in your period info and it will calculate when you will be fertile and ovulating and also when you will start your period. It is a free and very helpful site to join.
