I have actually...... many times. It seriously makes the friendships you make on here become "real." Sometimes we forget that there is a true soul on the other side. We aren't just fonts with words. Actually making that phone call and hearing the "tone" of the person brings them alive. It is so amazing when the way you read their words is exactly like the way they sound in real life. :) I love when expectation meets reality! However, it has worked both ways. You can talk to someone that just doesn't have the finesse they do on paper. Does that make them less of a friend? Heck no!! Personally I'm not so good on the phone and I imagine there are many of us out there that are not. So for many, they still need the face to face contact in order to be 'themselves.'
But to answer your question....... it's exciting, can be a bit rattling at first...... but look at it this way.... If IF IF ... you were good enough friends to consider talking on the phone at all, then you are good enough friends to work through the initial awkward moments of nerves until finally you find your way into being yourself. If you are true friends.....it is definitely worth it!

I met a guy on line by way of Yahoo Personals, and immediately is our 4 3 hundred and sixty 5 days anniversary. only met in a public place the 1st time, because of the fact there are some unusual ones accessible.

Yes, quite a lot of times. I even visited some of them, and am still good friends with two. It was extremely weird, I have to say. especially when I visited some of those people. The first was actually a guy from the Netherlands, I was going there for business for a week and I said what the heck I need someone to show me the town :) It usually turns out very good, but I did have one very scary experience.

Yes, I have. About the middle of this year, in fact. It was kind of weird, but soon became very normal. I'm not sure that I woud ever do it again, though.

Never have. I would like to, but only when Mama wasn't around. She's the jealous, insecure type. For some reason she is worried about losing me. If I were her I would have got rid of me YEARS ago.
