Stop askin questions that got no luck,
You just want attention,so go say 'please',
I'll rent you my homepage free of lease,
Anyway, you've never passed the third line,
Be a sport buddy, what's there to whine?

If I find the all the lyrics they are looking for, I just usually copy and paste the link in sources. If they wanted to read it they can click on it instead of scrolling down for days (which is very annoying to me) through one song lyric to get to the next answer. But I've never seen entire copy and pasted lyric as a best answer.

Yea sometimes ppl who quote the entire song lyrics get chosen as the best answer. Well, sometimes its a waste of time, especially when its not chosen as a best answer but sometimes it s kinda helpful and it makes u happy when u find someone quoting the whole song lyrics 4 u rather than making u go find it on some site!!

Overkill indeed...you can always tell the ones that just copy and paste stuff huge tracts in as well....
In my opinion however:
In this modern world,
it seems to me
there is no time
for poetry...
Is that pertinent enough?

a lot of people who were passionate about their question appreciate that someone "got" it as strongly as they do. so many times those people are chosen as best answer. i usually only use a few lines myself, but i hate to type! lolololol

Yeah, just include a link.. Even if it is a link to probably the most boring, most unreadable site you know, put up by someone who hides a lack of talent in a well inflated bubble of ego.

Only, as John Prine says, do "pertectly crafted popular hit songs always have the right lines"... sometimes it takes more than just the refrain to say what u wanna say...

Some people want to show us that they are listening to the lyrics, that's all.
