If you shoot a firework into the air and it hits it's maximum height in 7 seconds, but fails to explode?

how long does it take the firework to hit the ground?

Without knowing the acceleration rate of its upward journey there is no way to calculate the height it reached so it is not possible to say how long the descent under gravity will take.

it will take 7 secs only.
use only u=v+at ( a=g)
