Take a flannel - and ordinary face cloth - close your eyes and gently clean your eyes with it. You can use a tiny drop of baby shampoo if you have any. I once had a condition called blephoritis (a kind of excema around the eyelashes), and this is what the hospital doc told me to do.
I think you'll find it works very well. Good luck! x

I used to get excessive sleep build up at night and i realised i was sleeping in a slight draft.. as my head was under the window it was just the cool air coming off of the glass.. and i guess it was making my eyes dryout and over compansate..so i would wakeup with sticky fuzzy eyes... that would obviously take a while to normalise.
i dont think the source page i gave really applys to you but some of the symptoms of excessivly dry eyes was fuzzy vision.
you could always have an eye check up just incase you have an infection or anything..doesn cost much for peace of mind.
good luck
ps: if you make your eyes too hot in the shower they will mist up... i once did that whilst laying in hot water in the bath once and it scared the s**t out of me as it took a little while to clear.

Mine sometimes fog up, like I could see when I woke up but if I rub them to get the sleep out of the corners they go all blurry and I have to wait 10 minutes or so for them to clear up.

I think this is something to do with the amount of time you have spent with ur eys closed. as ur pupils be come accused to the light. Also if you wake up quickly you are more likely to continue with this problem as u dnt give your eyes enough time to ajust themselves.

It sounds like a normal "waking up" episode to me, although it would hurt to much to get your eyes checked.

Yes. It takes a while for your eyes to warm up and become more moist.
