Yes you can, although they are no where near as cheap as they used to be. I think normal now is near to three quarters of the UK price (used to be closer to half). The real bargains are from places like Latvia and Estonia (200 cigs, £7.20!). Just mentioned this because there may be a change in the law soon that means you can buy cigs and alcohol online from anywhere in Europe without paying UK tax. So, before you stock up on cheap but not bargain cigs in France, you may want to consider that!

Compare to UK, cigs can seems cheap, but you must know that you won't find different prices in small shops or big ones, tobacco price is decided by the governement, and it'll be the same price everywhere in france (exept if you want contreband cigs, but for that, I can't help you :-) And in France, you'll only find tobacco in specials shop we call "Bureau de tabac" (tobacco's office). You won't find some in supermarket

No he hasn't. His determination replaced into the the finest option one from a much wider attitude. On one hand shall we've not gotten more low-priced fags and booze for Latvia, woo hoo. on the different we've larger taxes because the authorities looks to make up lost gross sales. We actually have larger unemployment because P&O is going bust because a lot less everybody is utilizing the ferry for booze cruises by the channel. so as it really is extra funds the authorities has to claw decrease back so even larger taxes. The presently unemployed then commence to binge drink on low priced Latvian booze and anti social behaviour will develop meaning we favor extra Police on the beat and the rustic because a good larger Police state than that is now. Does anybody honestly imagine fags and booze for Latvia might want to be of a respectable high quality on the end of the day? Who cares they could were more low-priced is all i'm listening to. choose made a very good call and honestly went adverse to the advice the ecu gave him. humorous how we bemoan jap Europe even as it contains immigration yet praise the cheapness of all of it, and that i won't be able to bear in mind if or perhaps as a very good observe replaced into reported about the ecu.
