The more embarrassing the better. I personally know all of the words to The Gambler by Kenny Rodgers. Not embarrassing for everyone I guess, but it is for a rock and roll girl.

What a fantastic question! I love it.

Oh, there are SO many! My friends and family just freak (and or faint) when they hear that I like these melodic pearls.

Muskrat Love - Captain & Tenille

Seasons In the Sun - ?

Billy Don't Be A Hero - ?

Coat Of Many Colors - Dolly Parton (I know...it's bad but I love it)

Ben - Michael Jackson

Delta Dawn - Tanya Tucker

Gypsies Tramps and Thieves - Cher (just shoot me now, it's SO embarrasing!)

Ode To Billie Joe - Bobbie Gentry (I think)

Midnight At The Oasis - ?

Lucille - Kenny Rogers (your MAN and mine too)

McArthur Park (AKA - Someone Left the Cake Out in the Rain) - Donna Somers (What kind of idiot would leave a cake out in the rain? Who would think this is a good subject for a song? More importantly, what kind of idiot would know all of the words to the pathetic song? Oh. That's right. It would be ME!)

You Light Up My Life - Debbie Boone (My cats cry, and rightfully so, when I sing this song. They're WAY more intelligent than I)

Convoy - ? (Just a good 'ol dumb song about truckers. Gotta love that!)

Time in New England - Barry Manilow (or any other song he sings)

Wind Beneath My Wings - Bette Midler (I'm sick and must be destroyed!)

Endless Love - Lionel Richie and Diana Ross ("My love, there's only you in my life. The only thing that's right..." It's flat out wrong to know that song!)

Jesses Girl - Rick Springfield (the bridge is the best. "And I look in the mirror all the time. Wonder what she don't see in me. I've been funny I've been cool with the lines. Ain't that the way it's supposed to be?" Cracks me up!)

Okay, I could probably go on forever with bad songs I know all the words to or refuse to turn off if they're playing.

Thanks for asking such a great question...it was fun recalling all of those bad/sad songs!

Cheers!

Haha, I thought you were going to post a link to, like, Britney's "Baby One More Time" or something embarrassing like that. No, I've never heard this before. The only song I've ever known by Cheap Trick is "The Flame," and I DO love that one.
