thats a lot of bull, if narrow hips had anything to do with it the chinese would not have any kids, people have so many racial stereotypes and most all of it is wrong,

i'm not sure about the fertility thing but i had almost no problems with labor/delivery *white* some women do bc of smaller hips bc the baby will sit out front of the hips during pregnancy the hips do not spread as effectively that way but in general, hips spread throughout the pregnancy, thus the waddle for women used to being petite. its mostly up to complications and pain tolerance to decide whether or not labor is hard.

That's a false statement. Hip size has nothing to do with child bearing. Were just as fertile as Latinas or anyone else. We don't have as many children because we are well educated with contraceptives. (birth control).

Because your friend is confused and telling you rumors.
It's all an individual thing. Some women have it easy, like I did, and other have a really rough time of it.
I slept through most of mine and the doc had to slap my leg to wake me up so I could push.
When I got pregnant I weighed 120, at nine months I weighed 150, and I'm 5'4" tall.
So your friend, while not knowing what he's talking about, isn't all wrong, just half way.

I do not believe that it is harder or easier because of race. Every person black or white and other races too are different. I am speaking about the individual. We all have different pain thresholds and we are all in different physical shape. I think these may attribute more to rather child birth will be harder or not. So stay in good shape. lawlz

Not true at all.
Yes the latino nations have a higher birth rate, but that is falling. It has more to do with the society (more white wives are delaying childbirth to concentrate on their careers) than genetics.

Well, I'm white and my hips are 39 inches, so not small by any means! I think your friend is just making random statments and doesn't actually know what he is talking about to be honest....sorry. HTH : )

I have never come across are empirical medical study that indicates one race has less pain during child birth than another.
Sounds fishy and smells like old cheese!

smaller hips in general means a harder delivery...don't think it is linked to origin
