as with all magic it is merely an optical illusion..(a trick of the eye)...being a magician myself i would never give out my secrets and i am sure he never will but of course there are people out there who like to spoil the fun (penn & Teller) but even they are not always correct

He uses trickery to fool you into believing. It is only magic if you believe. Otherwise, we don't give out the secrets. It's a much honored law.
