Never been married but i like the question ^_^; When i was engaged i occasionally buy flowers for my bride to be(twice a week sometimes with chocolates, and a teddy bear). They wernt natural roses, i think they were painted or something, because they were the most beautiful crimson red i have ever seen.

My husband surprised me with a dozen pink roses last night! He did it last month too. We've been married 4 years. He knew he did a little thing to make me mad yesterday so the roses were a gesture. Usually we just talk out our anger, so I was surprised by the flowers.

Occasionally my husband buys me flowers,we've been married 17 yrs. He bought me roses after the birth of both our daughters,on Valentines day roses and daises.I've told him I don't really like flowers because they die,I like things I can keep,,,,,,On our 12th yr anniversary he sent me 11 real and 1 fake rose and on the card he wrote "I'll love you till the last rose dies",,now that was romantic,,,but it wasn't the flowers that got my heart it was the words.

I don't like Flowers because they die.
So my husband buys me a whole Rose bush instead.
