what you could have is persistent amorreah, are you overweight or extremely thin? this condition is caused by and excess or nonexistent levels of estrogen and progesterone, i bet they put you on progesterone to induce it and it was long and horrible. anyways why if you had your period induced by a gynocologist in august did that doctor not try to find the cause behind it? what you do is this, go to the doctor again and get on a birth control(low dose) and your periods will return to normal within a few months, but seriously get really checked out to make sure there isn't a simple answer to your problem. stop being afraid it does you no good.

Sounds like PCOS is a possibility. Why is your gyne inducing and not telling you why you aren't getting a period?
You need to talk to your gynie, find out what is going on. In the meantime, here is a link about PCOS (which is the most common cause of 'something wrong' that causes this)

You know the way periods are triggered, right? When an egg goes unfertilized. Your baby is a fertilized egg. Your physique has realized that an egg has been fertilized, and so that you discontinue ovulating. You is not going to have a interval whilst you're pregnant.

There is a chance that something is very wrong. I would ask your gynocologist to do an ultrasound and see if you have endrimitriosis or polycystic ovarian syndrome.
Your body may still be adjusting your cycle, but if it's that far apart I would ask my doctors.

Definitely have a conversation with your doctor. However, your period can stop if you're underweight or if you are really, really active.
