The Great American Smokeout on Nov. 16 is set aside to encourage smokers to quit for the day and hopefully for good. Millions will quit for the day and many will likely quit permanently.

I am a non-smoker, I hope many do quit or at least quit smoking in public places.

Don't care about that. But I'm cutting back. And the patches are helping very much. Good question though. It's one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. What kills me though, is we never hear how the big companys contribute to cancer. That would cut into profits.
