I went there last night and it was awful! the people running the show couldnt even get it to flow it was all stopping and starting and power cuts and sound problems not to mention the drunk celebrities cocking up their lines! I wont even start on Michael Jackson, what was that about? and whats all this about Mary J Blige winning a Legen award? I was there all night and her name wasnt mentioned once!

World music awards is just a popularity contest...
saying that, although i cant agree with the legend award... Mary J Blige has been in the industry a lot longer than most people think. But your right, the awards were a bit farsical, just treat them with the contempt they deserve.

Only read about it in this morning's paper.
The only disappointment I find in it is that Michael Jackson didn't get eggs thrown at him.
Other things were more or less ho-hum.
