I'm looking for different Types of Christmas Gift Exchanges. I know of White Elephant, and Secret Santa. I was wondering if anyone knew of any others that would be similar.

I have never heard of the White Elephant, but it may be the same as what my extended family does at Christmas. Each person brings a wrapped gift around $20.00, marks them as a man, woman, or either gift. We each draw a number, number 1 picks a gift from under the tree, each person can either take a gift from under the tree or take another persons gift. It gets to be very funny, but make sure that there isnt a cry baby in the group or they will ruin it for everyone.
My 82 year old Dad doesn't shop, so for Christmas he cracks open walnuts very carefully removes the meat of the nut and replaces it with money. Then he glues them back together and hangs them on a tree branch. Each of us takes turns picking a nut from the tree cracking it open to find our surprise inside. It can be anywhere from a nickle to $100.00 bill. He devised this plan saying that he doesn't have to worry with shopping, and no one could ever say that he favors one child/grandchild/great grandchild over another.

For our paintings present replace (decrease $15), I continuously supply a great ornament and homestead baked cookies. no person will ever be indignant via that, and it extra suitable than keeps in the fee decrease. I in simple terms pass as much as the import keep and choose a great $6 or $7 dollar ornament for each coworker, and bake/beautify cookies the night in the previous the present replace. i in my opinion locate present playing cards cheesy, and $15 won't pass very far everywhere in any case. Plus, the people i understand a minimum of, are continuously happier whilst they open up a real present on Christmas morning. presents I actual have gained in the worker present replace i actual liked: a small stay evergreen tree, various embellishes, movie fee ticket books (now its a contemporary card to the theatre), a Christmas table runner, and lad 12 months a my coworker jokingly gave me a $15 iTunes present card (I volunteer my iPod and ipod dock in the process the Christmas season so the save has festive music, yet after listening to an identical 15 songs for 5 at as quickly as weeks, you kinda hate Christmas music lol)

You could have everyone bring a favorite book.

Frankly, I think the white elephant exchange is the most hilarious.
