I know this should probably be in a different category, but I think women would relate and understand better in here. I am very stressed out, esp. being so close to the holidays, and I need some advice on how to destress myself. I was fired from my job last month, and didnt find out until 2 weeks later (long story). I found out from a letter from my insurance company telling me I was no longer covered. So right there, thats two major stressors. My son has ODD (oppositional defiance disorder) which is very hard to deal with as a single mother, and my fiance and I just signed the lease for an apt, moving in Dec.1 about 40 miles from my current address. I need to find a job, unemployment is barely enough, but without any openings in the local daycares I may have to get a 3rd shift job, only letting me sleep while my son is awake all afternoon. I know I can only fix one thing at a time, but does ANYONE have any advice or suggestions on how to let myself calm down?

Just a little MINOR detail, my fiance does not want to try to pleasure me during sex, since I am more difficult than other women.

1.See if the birthfather can take his son for a month.
2.I hope your fiance is working two jobs also.
3.Talk to a pastor/clergy. they can provide spiritual as well as financial help or get you a job. Some churches have daycare programs.
4.Get your parents or in-laws to help out with the boy.

Every spare chance you can, sit down quietly and concentrate on your breathing. Eyes closed, slowly breath in through the nose and out through slightly parted lips. Hopefully you will find a good friend at your new location that can help you out with other minor problems you may have. Good luck.

Its a huge problem. I used to have too many stress factors that is not making me sleep and stay up all night worried. But then I discovered prayer. Ask, and you shall receive. Thats the only way and when u pray, keep the faith strong, bec without that faith, its all useless.

works on me since 2002, hope it works on u too....

pray to God.. then go ahead it all out... you'll feel better. PROMISE. FYI, tears aren't just water. they're the extra hormones produced in your body by your brain, and when you cry, you let them out... go ahead.. let it out...
