I have to agree....forgetting the reason for the holidays. It's a shame those Christians transformed the Spring Equinox from a day of rebembering the rebirth of the season cycle and changed it into a day of greiving for a rebellious martyr.

Ah, the solstice celebrations in Winter and Spring that have become part of the religious practices of a Transplanted Middle Eastern Religion. Me, I won't EVER forget.

I would say yes. It does seem to me that a lot of people do see the holidays as just an excuse to have a big feast.
Totally forgetting the reason for the holiday in the first place.

yes we forgeting the meanig of our festivals and traditions take a lok at halloween according to pagan law halloween is a night to celibrate those that have passed on and x-mas is NOT about presents it's about the birth of jesus.

p.s.i am not a religous person just serching for redemption.

yes we r 4getting the real meaning of our festivals. we r going towards the foreign culture i.e. friendship day,valentine day,etc. We r ignoring Ganesh Fetival,Diwali such INDIAN festivals. We thought that they makes us bored.

I don't think so. there are many Covens and Temples that hold Rituals with great respect to the ancient traditions of the Sabbats and Esbats

i would say yes all festivals have become commercialised .we no longer care about the reason spirit of the festivals

running fast for earnings we are slowing bidding to our festivals
thus loosing the charm of human existence itself slowly
