No you shouldn't go back to teaching. It would probably just make you sick again. There's more to life than just earning big bucks. I didn't get my degree until I was 25. I worked as a teacher for 9 years. Apart from the money, which was useful because we had two young kids, it was a waste of time. Now I'm a part-time writer, earning next to nothing, the kids are now independent and I'm much better-off. I'd probably be dead by now if I'd stayed in teaching. A teacher in NZ is a slave's slave, and from what I've heard, the job is even worse in the States, Britain and most other countries. **** teaching.

No, do what makes YOU HAPPY! If its working a really cool job that is not in the field you intended then so be it. YOU ARE ONLY 22! you still have a long time to figure out your life. I'm 25 and not even finished with college, just quit a wellpaying office job because I hated my boss's and the environment and am now working for a super cool stationery store, oh and I'm getting divorced cause i caught my hubby cheating. Don't stress girl.. your life could be worse it could be mine.

I think you should do what makes you happy. Society puts so much strain on us to do this and that, and what is acceptable and what isn't. Everyone has their own pace at doing things, what your friends are doing isn't exactly what is right for you. I think you should take some time to consider what it is that you really want to do, what makes you happy and what fulfills your needs the most. If you want to go back to teaching by all means do it, but don't do it for the wrong reasons - it would be a burden and stress and your job should be something that you enjoy doing.
So figure out what you want, maybe teaching isn't wat you want to do? ever thought of that??? think about it...and good luck!

where ever you go you find the same symptoms.
On the one hand drugs and poisons are rampant in life and cause the feeling euphoria and when the euphoria leaves it leaves a state of depression. its only withdrawls. Other kinds of sickness are engineered to specifically cause such diseases. Lsd in the sugar or coffee at work will cause sleep deprivation and sleep deprivation will cause melancholy and even greater depression. thats why the medical association prescribes anti depressants in the form of stimulants that are so much like cocaine and Lsd so people wont feel the symptoms of withdrawls. but will anyone ever speak the truth of these insane conspiracies and fraud and continue Lying to the public.
I doubt it! will anyone believe what i just said. There are many who do
go to druagawareness.org and read some of the testimonies of dr ann blake tracey

Stop looking at friends, they are there to know. They are not there to follow, you must take your own decisions, how does anyone know your heart, you are the master of your heart. How can anyone advise you to be happy, only you can bring happiness in yourself. being 22 is nothing like going backwards, its ok be 22 you have still life to live, whats the big deal, you mean you are 22 and still you have not earned hoards and hoards of money. Maybe someone with money will share his money with you.
For being happy money is a secondary thing. If you have enough to take care of your needs, that is probably enough for a man like me.

Babe if youre meant to take a break from teaching then take the break. Be happy about what youre doing NOW! You should be grateful you have a job. When its time to go back to teaching then you will know.

You felt it wasn't working for you and took steps to change it, is that something to feel lousy about?
Perhaps you could explore other areas of teaching rather then the traditional in classroom setting.

consider joining 'Americore' or another such volunteer agency. there are many 1-year programs that allow you to travel internationally for free, meet people, and apply any skills you have for the betterment of people in need. at the completion of 1 year service you receive bonus $, grants, etc.. check into it, it may provide the perfect opportunity for you and it sure looks good on a resume'
