I can visualize the time I want to wake up and wake up within 15 min before that time even if I was dreaming. Can anyone else do this?

Yes. It's really weird sometimes because before I go to bed i'll just think about the time I have to be up and usually i'll wake up about 15 - 30 min before that time which gives me enough time to get ready. I have never really needed an alarm clock while others can't wake up without one.

i havent used an alarm clock for most of my adult life. and whether i sleep ten minutes a day or 12 hours a day, I always seem to wake up when I need to.
on the other hand, there have been times when I didnt sleep at all during the night and would only begin to fall asleep a couple minutes before i due to get up and go to work
I remember one time i looked at the clock and fell asleep with a new kitten on my chest only to dream that that the kitten was kissing my nose and then to wake up only ten minutes later.
with the kitten still there. was it a dream or did i wake up in a slumber and only think i was dreaming?

yes, i've been able to do this since a very young age, i visualize the time and usually wake up within a couple of minutes of it. i set the clock just as a back up but i've always woke up in time to turn it off before it rings.

When I'm working my dayshift I have to be at work by 6am, so I set my alarm for 5.00am and invariably wake up between 4.45am and 5.00am.
I do this by telling myself, just before I go to sleep ,what time to wake in the morning.
Works without fail.

Yes, it is called being a Long Term Single Mother and a Military Retiree -- both required I be up and about with little notice -- and I did just that -- even though sometimes I did not have an alarm clock with me.

yes,we do have what we call mental clock...where in if we continually put in our mind that we will wake up at this particular hour, say 5am, and we do it continously as we lay in our bed before we seleep, our mental clock functions based on the time that we are familiar with.
say, ur familiar with eastern time and u happen to be in the state following pacific time...u will wake up at 5am eastern time...not pacific.it's not exactly 5am but at least a few minutes before or after 5.

I used to be able to do that when I was in high school but eventually that power went away. along with all my other superhuman cool powers.

Yeah.. I've been doing that for many years already.

My body would wake me up around 6:45am everyday.. even on weekends and holidays . :( where I suppose to "sleep-in"
Do you find it strange that it does that? kekeke
