Here you are in one of the most romantic cities in the world. You are all fired up to go on a gondola ride with your partner; and you find out that it cost a hundred bucks! You think to yourself, "I might not ever get a chance to do this again; but is it really that big of a deal?"

By the way, in case you didn't know, that's how much it costs! (Except for the taxis)

Yes, I'd pay it. Because that is actually one thing I would like to do in my future.

well I have taken a gongola and it did not cost me just 100$ it cost me 250, I guess it depends where the gondolier takes you. I go to visit Venice often , and the best time to go is for Carnival, very cool experience and very romantic. Evrything there is very ,very expensive not just gondola rides.

Yes! I think it's a very romantic thing to do and there isn't enough of that in the world! You only live once, spend the hundred bucks!

If I could afford to go to Venice, then I could afford the gondola ride.

For $100, that gondola better come with a hooker and a bottle of Dago Red.

I might do it. I would have to look at the water and the area. If it was clean water - I hear it is very dirty but will never see it myself - and if there were interesting things to see and the best way to see it was by water, I probably would.
However, anyone who spends money that they cannot afford to spend is foolish.

Yea, ofcourse I would. It's true, you might not ever get that chance again, that's why you gotta snap it right up while you can!

If it lasted for two hours and you got a guided tour I think that would be reasonable. If it was only a quick rush so your gondolier could pick up another mug then; no thanks.
