I currently reside in Hawaii and am thinking of relocating to las vegas. I love hawaii (the people, the weather) but it is a very expensive place to live especially for myself and my fiance who want to rent for the first time. Also, I know there are more job opportunites in the mainland aswell. Most importantly, we are ready for change and are willing to adjust. Any tips/advice?

Sure, why not? If you don't like it, you can always move back and there are more opps on the mainland anyway. Just be aware that you are moving from a tropical climate to a desert. I wouldn't advise it if you are prone to addictive behavior or don't know how to limit yourself when gambling. Take a trip there first on a "fact finding" mission - scout rents, jobs, etc. and don't move until you have a job secured. A successful move is all in the planning... good luck!

Go for it. You are young and mobile. I don't know what your field is but there are lots of opportunities in Vegas. You also could continue your education or job training. From what I hear the weather doesn't get too cold. You should experience more of the world.

It will be a fresh new start in life for you and your fiance.

One tip- don't get hooked on the slot machines.

my advice is please don't listen to morons on yahoo answers when you want to make an important life decision. i only ask questions on here when they don't involve a major decision. the only thing you can do, practically, is go to vegas and check it out yourself. then, listen to your heart. sit down, meditate for a few minutes every day, until the right answer comes to you. think about it. if someone here lives in vegas, they will most likely tell you to drop everything and leave, and if someone hates vegas, they will tell you to stay away. listen to your inner voice, not morons on yahoo.
