Yeah, I have. I live in an apartment on the 2nd floor so I don't see anyone at the window, but I have heard things in the other room and searched and found something had fallen. I answered a question on here one day, they asked if you had ever heard Jingle Bells played backwards (I have a bad heart anyway and am on meds for it) any way I went in to the site and the music was beautiful and then all of a sudden a scary face jumps out and screams, it took me at least 15 mins. before I could get my heart to quit hurting and settle down.
And yes, it has been totaly quiet in my apt. and I am concentrating on the computer and all of a sudden the damn phone rings and I damn near sh__ my drawers.

I've freaked myself out with my hair before.
And your question didn't freak me out. If it did freak someone out, they need to really get a life.
My heart is pounding normal speed. No, I haven't gotten up to make sure my doors or windows are locked. I don't even own a flashlight. I don't smoke, nor do I drink. And I don't feel like turning around.
I personally sit in a room by myself, in the dark. If someone is in my house, plans on killing me, then they will. No matter if I lock the doors and windows. Look under my bed, or look behind me. And yes, the reflection in my screen is me. I'm ugly enough to be able to tell.
But thank you for the points.

I have a cat pressing it's razorsharp pointy fingernails into me at this very instant.
I quit watchin' scary movies before Psycho came out. And it took 10 years after that to get rid of the heebie jeebies and suspicious fear that family members seemed to "love." I consciously chose to find a better route. Before I outgrew the fear, I used to crawl up to the windows to pull the drapes, esp. if watching Alfred Hitchock or Twilight Zone. I've never watched a chain saw movie. Today I have DREAMS that involve those windows on my houses...with the drapes billowing out the window in the breeze, and spreading lawns and peaceful seas are the view. Thanks for reminding me of the blessings in my imagination!

Hell yea! I'd say by hearing strange noises at night, hearing something in another room and knowing I'm not alone, or thinking I did as well as sitting alone at night and all of a sudden the phone rang! None of the above are fun at all when they frkin happen, its frkin SCARY!

"Vasectomy" isn't frightening in any respect. maximum what you pay attention that's thoroughly fake. in case you had a sparkling understand-how of it, you will possibly understand there is no longer something frightening approximately it. in reality that's a good component. I had one, i might understand. "Childbirth" is something i do no longer think of i might like. even with the indisputable fact that, i might particularly be castrated than have little ones. "Castration" sounds painful. i would not prefer to could take testosterone tablets for the the remainder of my existence besides.

Cute. The last time I got scared was during the Reagan Presidency. Now nothing scares me. I wasn't saying cute sarcastically. I wish something would scare me.
