The biggest cover-up operation by any government that very few people know about is the cover-up following the genocide of "la comunidad Afro," the people of African origin or ***** population of Argentina in Buenos Aires just over 100 years ago. Migration, both from Brazil and from nearby countries such as Bolivia and Paraguay resulted in a large number ***** migrants in the barrios (neighbourhoods) of the capital city Buenos Aires. There sudden disappearance followed claims of mass genocide. The Agentinian government claimed that disease caused by contaminated water supplies was the cause of the complete disappearance of the ***** from the Argentine scene.
In Argentina after the official abolition of slavery, many blacks were still slaves and were granted manumission only by fighting in Argentina's wars, serving in the war of independence against Spanish rule and border wars against Paraguay from 1865 to 1870. Granted their freedom if they joined the army.
Historian Ysabelle Rennie notes that the government deliberately placed as many blacks as possible in
"dangerous military service"
and they were sent into battle,
"where they got killed off fighting Indians another people Argentines were interested in exterminating."
The 1778 census showed of Buenos Aires residents 30 percent were *****. That figure dropped to Zero by 1887.

If you are really looking for a good "cover-up" look into WW2 and the early involvement of the then Power full European Nations led by the English government in "sucking-up" to Hitler, and then it took more then 600K American dead on European soil to put things back in place. And one more, after Hitler was beat-up out of sight, double check History's account of the big 3 and their deals.....only Patton (IMO) had their number correct...However he was not aloud to speak anymore...talk about a cover-up!!!

Watergate, with its domestic spying, dirty tricks, attempts (unnecessarily as it turned out) to rig the 1972 presidential election would have been the biggest cover up operation if the burglars had not been caught by a security guard making minimum wage. It led all the way to Nixon and ended up costing him his job and his place in history.

the computer has been the left hand of power in the ways that you wanted the computer to be it will make decisions for the government it will make all your questions answerable it will pigeon hole the world into a corner and keep it there we have only had it a short time but u can't tell me that you can't see that all this is being rigged to use against us, where is the computer going to be used to define anything it only will be used to stop anybody from getting past it. the4 security to defend the government against our selves is here and it is alive and well. the computer is the answer to all their questions and it has the ability that we used to look for in good men to send to Washington know all they have to do is use the quantum leap that the computer can figure and stop u forever the old ways are gone and we don't have a prayer with this system that will unfold on use that has never been here before we are not a people and a country anymore this is a computer generated and has little to do with anything real it just sends out information that has been gathered to protect them from us

Probably the Vela Incident, which likely was a joint nuclear test conducted by South Africa (during apartheid) and Israel. What appeared to be a nuclear test was picked up by a US Vela sattelite, designed to detect such things. Strong denial by both South Africa and Israel, though US, and Indian intelligence agencies showed it likely happened as originally thought. Covering up a nuclear test has to rank as at least one of the biggest.
