It's US airways, and i personally don't see the stock getting any lower, so I would hold on to the stock and see what happens.

Well, first off, they are not involved in a hostile takeover. US Airways is interested in buying out the creditors' debt. Before they can even get serious about doing that, it will need to be approved by the goverment. The government doesn't like the idea because the resulting airline would be so much larger that any other existing airline, creating a "monopoly", it would be unfair to the consumers. I wouldn't worry about anything yet. Stock prices for both airlines were up today. If it DID occur, it would be operated under the name Delta Air Lines. Sit tight for right now.

Sell and get out. Use the money to buy oil and other energy stocks.
