-=BOSS BATTLE: Yojimbo=-
HP: 30,000
MP: 0
This is not a very difficult battle. Yojimbo will use his Daigoro attack
repeatedly at the beginning of the fight. To finish him off quickly, use
your aeons' Overdrives.
Before you step on the teleport pad in the room, be sure you have at least
250,000 gil. You can warp to the left and the right to get a few valuable
items, but for now, go straight ahead into the Chamber of the Fayth.
Now it's time to bid. If you ever triple his asking price, he'll offer two
Teleport Spheres as well, so keep that in mind. He'll give you three options
at the start; pick the third, as it causes him to give his lowest asking
price (250,000 gil). Don't bid the whole lot, yet, however; bid half his
asking price, plus one (if you picked the third option, that would be
125,001 gil). Raise your offer by one gil each time to lower his asking
price. Once his price gets to 205,000 gil, that's about as low as you can
reliably take him, so bid around 190k-200k to get him in your party.

I have been there. Oh the good old days of the PS2 in its glory. Yea it takes some serious grinding to get to the move Holy for Yuna at that stage. Beating Yunalesca without it is possible however. Its basically understanding the mechanics of the fight and planning your rotation until the third phase which she use mega death so cheap!! >:( Anyways I never used Yojimbo during this fight because he just blows ***. What i usually did was I just did the typical beat down through the first 2 phases curing zombie and healing up along the way. Get an armor piece with "Death Ward" and cross your fingers that at least ONE of your characters live through it OR you can summon and aeon right when she goes into the 3rd phase. They are immune to death. Once Mega Death is over its just OMGWTFROFLSTOMPLMAO from there. =3

When he asks you what you want, answer "To defeat the most powerful of enemies," which will get his lowest asking price.
Offer him half of what he's asking, plus 1 Gil. He'll counter-offer, and you should raise your bid slightly, until he offers $205,000.
I've heard of him accepting 195,000 Gil, but $205,000 is usually about right, and pretty fair. If he turns you down (he'll tell you that you want a phoenix, but offer chicken feed), no problem, you can always try it again.
If you happen to offer him triple his asking price, he'll throw in two Teleport Spheres, which can come in handy if you have the Gil.

He starts with 300,000 but you can increase it to 500,000 I believe and then you'll be given two teleport spheres as well. You can bargain him down to 250,000 however.

sometimes - a lot is less effective than a little
300-500 vs a 1,000 if I remember right
