whats "wrong" or "undemocratic" about the personal and political backgrounds of our members in congress?

whats wrong is that all they had to be was rich and know someone to back them. I think that anyone wishing to hold any office should have to go to college and study and recieve a degree in the type of office they wish to run for and then and only then after recieving certification that they are qualified can they run. Its stupid like in California a movie actor with no experience and training is governor. Even at mcdonalds to be a manager you have to have training and experience. being rich doesnt mean you will know how to run a state or country. why do you think that there are so many problems because anyone with pull and cash can get into office and then run things by thier beliefs and not what is best for the country or state. Even if something is totally against thier personal beliefs if it is what the people want or is the best for the people then thats what it should be and not what they believe to be right or wrong.
