It does give off radiation, but not a harmful amount. If you're worried about it, turn it off at night - Nokia phones will automatically turn on for the alarm function. Or simply get an alarm clock.
If you have a wireless phone in the bedroom, get rid of that! Those give off 26x more radiation.

There are warnings at the back of your owner's manual, check that.
I believe your chances of it causing problems only increase with the prolonged use of the mobile phone, as in having it close to your ear for an extended period of time. I'm sure that having it on a night stand should be safe enough.

i don't think it is safe; i mean; they always say that you shouldn't put your mobile phone near your heart or use it in the right hand; because it gives radiation; try to put it a bit far from your bedside

Take no chances, put phone further away from you as I do with an LG phone that wakes me up everyday. Having phone away from me makes me get out of bed right away because that beep,beep, beep sound is very anoying.
