Is it true that one in every two hundred men are the descendants of Genghis Khan ?I'm not sure because I was watching tv one day, flippling the channels when the narrator of that documentary said" It is said that one in every two hundred men are the desendants of Genghis Khan. A taoist men had said to him that he could prolong his life by sexual......" and then my brother snatched the remote and changed the channel.

Their is a tribal communtiy in Siberia of less than a few thousand.
It is said that of this community 1 in 200 is a descendant of Genghis Khan.
This would equate to - far less dramatically - about 15 people.

Definetly not. You got to realize that almost no one is related to Genghis Khan in Africa, western Europe, Australia, Japan, Indonesia and all of America. Granted that Genghis Khan can indirectly inject his bloodline into India and China, Those two countries were huge aven during that time period. His children had to be amazingly prolific to even get 1/2 % in those countries. Even if Genghis Kahn was to breed non stop, you have to remember relatives of royalty tends to kill each other to ensure a higher place in mongol soceity. The rumor probably started, because mongols tend to lie about their direct decendancy to Genghis Khan. Genetically speaking the most prolific person in the world is an Irish. The belief of intercourse prolonging life does exhist in asia though, but I don't know how wide spread.

As we all know DNA is the component where gene from parents are stored, do you think 1 in 200 look like Gengis Khan, I dont know.....What do you think ? The reporter was lending a splash to his report. Reporters sometime say things without investigation. I probably think INDIANS (East) are the most populated people on this EARTH. You will find them every where in Africa, USA, Europe, Asia, Far East, Australia and even in Tasmania and New Zealand.
But we INDIANS defeated hordes of Gengis Khan.

i cant confirm what you heard but it is true that genghis khan had many illegimate children since he raped many women.
