Get your own account on a friend's computer, make your own character that looks as much like you as possible, and arrange to be 'out with the girls' or something when you know he'll be playing. (You need to find out his character's name and realm). Log on from the other computer, have your character meet his in a very public place, use the /kneel emote and /yell your proposal so literally hundreds of other characters will hear it. Have fun with it!

If you have a scanner you could scan the back of a card into the computer and then make a new front for it with your proposal on it and slip it into his deck.

What you could do is propose to him on world of warcraft. That might work. I would for me, any way if my girlfriend decided to propose to me on an online game. It'd be weird that she would propose to me. I'd prefer to propose to her.
