Being born in this primitive, barbaric time when people still think wars, religions and governments are necessary. No advanced nanotech or mind uploading, either! Cripes, I'm going to have to try and stick it out in a mortal body until those are invented.

My BIGGEST regret ever, was at a Halloween party where my present boyfriend was awaiting to make his move on me. He had taken the time to put on a costume, even though he hates dressing up. He called me that night to see if I was still coming, but I didn't have a costume and I had invited to my place a past "friend" who I hadn't seen in a while (big mistake). So, I told him I'd be bring someone else to the party, and when he came to pick us up he soon realized this guy wasn't just a friend. He still drove us there as my "friend" and I sat in the backseat. Then, when we got to the party, where we hardly spoke to anyone, I suddenly got the sense I was hated by everyone there. And my "friend" was acting like a complete idiot not talking to anyone, smoking his cigarette. So, to get out of the situation I asked my present boyfriend to drive us home where he would then have to drive all the way back to the party. Anyways, this "friend" was my boyfriend for 3 miserable months which I also regret, because I gave away my virginity to him, when he was a complete druggy and couldn't care less about how I felt. So now I'm with the one guy that actually cared that night to get all dressed up for me. I'm extremely happy with him and just wish I could make up for letting him down that night. I'm only 18 and I already have soo many regrets, seems like it's gonna be a tough one for me.

Not telling my wife how much I love her and admire her. I didn't tell her how much I respected her and how lost I would be without her. I didn't talk to her as much as I could have. I didn't give her flowers often enough and I didn't say I love you as often as I could have. I don't think she really ever knew that she was so much a part of me. I didn't say "thank you for being my wife". Now she is unable to understand anything I say due to a brain injury. I regret not saying enough.

Not doing what my college creative writing instructor suggested, and get a BA in English and an MFA in Poetry! (Instead of majoring in Political Science: you can't get a job without a Master's degree-ARGH!!!)

Then again, if I'd done that I would have had a job in it, and not ended up working at Home Depot--- WHERE I MET MY HUSBAND!!!
I guess I can go back to school when my kids are older...

I've done a lot of stupid things that I wish I hadn't in my life, but nothing I can say I regret. I've chalked them all up to experience.
