Don't buy DAB it's going to be replaced by wireless(believe it or not)
radio,a blue tooth type receiver that plays all the music broadcast via broadband and the Internet.It has perfect reception, digital sound quality and is free.

No. DAB will only pick up the local digital stations in your area along with the ones you would find on your analogue radio. For a list of stations available in your area go to:

You can now, however buy a radio which does pick up every single radio station on the internet (the world basically). It's a Wi Fi Internet radio. They are currently on sale at £169 but you will need wireless broadband to use it.

It depends on the radio station,
They chooses to pay to have their station output on a DAB transmitter and/or FM and/or Sky/Astra satellite.
As for Kerrang Radio it seems to available on DAB in most UK regions.

I live in London and I am certain that I have seen Kerranng on my DABs display but as another of your replys said it depends on what stations are broadcasting in your area. You could go down to your local hi-fi shop and test drive a DAB an see what stations you have in your area,
