no, but i remember getting told very sternly NOT to walk on the floor because it was still wet. We never walked on it either, my gran was hell on wheels..make you wanna crawl under a rock w' a look..an I'm talkin grown men who didn't even know her! So no, she never used papers, and for days?....i think your gran must have hated mopping! lol

I'm not actually sure how a person can mop FLOUR.
But if you're meaning mopping the FLOOR, I'd have to say no.

my grandma used to do this but it was to soak up the excess water/cleaner from the floor, she only left it on a few hours though not for days.

My gram didn't need to because we all knew that if we put one foot on the clean floor you would get your butt whipped.
