If the husband is the type who is looking for someone he can be "better than" in these ways then this would work for him.
In fairness to this type of man, there is the chance he may want to feel his wife needs him; but there are also men who are slaves to their own egos because they have not reached a level of intellectual maturity, and these men may prefer to be in a relationship that will always allow them to feel superior. One catch to this is that these are sometimes the men who later realize they don't love their wives because they don't respect or admire them (two essential components to genuine love).

If the husband is someone who would like to be able to look up to his wife, admire her, and feel she has something to contribute intellectually he's probably do better with someone of equal or more "qualification". For this type of man and the highly qualified wife he may end up with, the earning issue wouldn't matter to either of them. A reasonably minor age difference wouldn't matter.

When it comes to height some men (and their wives) may not care about a height difference, some men may see a smaller woman as feminine or else associate the smaller size (on some hardwiring level) with youthfulness or femininity.

In any case, it is generally accepted that biological hardwiring makes men prefer traits that are associated with youthfulness and good health. I think, too, the "good health thing" may translate to something like a "perfect specimen", which would suggest that the woman with the highest intelligence (or maybe even earning potential) may actually be more attractive to some men as well.

When it comes to age, it is built in that men would find youthful women attractive; however, with all other factors considered (and if the man is of an intellectual and emotional maturity that would make him think marrying someone substantially younger would be too unfulfilling or generally too "weird") there is a point where the 40-year-old guy who rules out everyone under 30 for "intellectual/emotional" reasons may still be attracted to the more mature woman who has some youthful characteristics; but that woman could be a youthful 45 years old (which this guy may be entirely fine with as long as he finds her attractive).

No. Age hollow isn't that major on condition that both companions are healthful and characteristic a very good psychological know-how. My mum and dad' age hollow replaced into 8 years, mine with my spouse is 10 and my cousins have a fifteen years age hollow. All our marriages are satisfied and lengthy lasting, so its the interest that maximum major. Plus mature adult adult males are more effective because boys have a tendency to be immature and their better halves extra mature than them...it really is even as the difficulty starts!
