England will win the Ashes, but then the Krikkit robots will descend from outer space to seize them so they can reconstitute them back into the Wooden Pillar of Nature and Spirituality, part of the Key to the Wikkit Gate that will release the planet Krikkit from its Slo-Time Envelope and the Krikkiters can resume their programme of peace, justice, culture, sport and the obliteration of all other life forms. We won't have to worry about that, though (except for the people killed by the robots when they seize the Ashes), as the Vogons will be demolishing our planet two days later to make way for an interstellar bypass.

i think the aussies might regain the ashes this year
England can win it if both teams play with exactly the same players as last year
